Talent & Story is a career workspace: an ATS-friendly resume builder, cover letters, business cards, a job tracker, a Career Vault for your achievements, and interview prep — all in one place. This guide walks you through your first session end to end.
Create your account
- Open the Talent & Story home page and click Get Started (or Sign In if you already have an account).
- Sign up with your email and password. Your data is stored securely in the cloud and isolated per account.
- You land on the Dashboard, the home base for every feature.
The dashboard
The dashboard shows your activity at a glance:
- Next step — a highlighted card with the most useful action to take right now.
- Your path — a guided checklist of steps with clear status, collapsible on mobile.
- Snapshots — key metrics plus your application pipeline, reminders, and Career Vault insights.
- Quick actions — one-tap entry into the CV builder, a new application, a cover letter, or interview practice.
On the left, the sidebar (hamburger menu on mobile) is your main navigation. On mobile there's also a persistent bottom tab bar with Dashboard, CV Builder, Job Tracker, Career Vault, and Interview Prep. Click the Talent & Story wordmark at any time to return to the Talent & Story home page.
Build your first resume
- In the sidebar, open CV Builder.
- Click Create (or use an existing template card).
- Work through the wizard steps — personal info, experience, education, skills, and more. Every change is saved automatically.
- Use Review & Export to pick a template, tweak the accent color, zoom into the live preview, and download as PDF or DOCX.
You can mark a resume as Active from the builder header — your active resume is the one /builder opens by default.
